Animal welfare expert and animal trainer, Heidi Herriott invited Mindy Patterson, President of The Cavalry Group, on her podcast, Animal Tales, to discuss legislation called the “Working Animal Protection Act” which is preemptive legislation that has passed in Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Texas. This legislation goes on offense to protect lawful animal enterprise that utilizes working animals such as rodeo, horse-drawn carriages, animal exhibitions and agritourism from illegalbans of their businesses.
